Most frequently a peristaltic pump has a pump head containing a rotor with three or four rollers. This type of pump head has a very strong pulse whenever a roller leaves the tube track. Flexicon¡¯s dispensing units utilize a rotor design with two individual channels, and each with 12 rollers. So that one channel has its maximum flow rate when the other one has its minimum, thus eliminating pulsation, and also ensure highly accurate fills.
